Eli Terry, Jr. Column and Splat Shelf clock, very nice label, “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry. Made and Sold in Terrysville, Connecticut by Eli Terry, Jr.” Transition shelf clock with alarm, wooden works, stenciled splat, reverse painted glass, ornate hand painted dial, claw feet. Measures approx. 28″ tall x 16 1/2″ wide x 5 1/2″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.
