A beautiful antique clock, Eli Terry, Jr. & Co., very nice label “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry, Made and sold at Terrysville, Connecticut by Eli Terry Jr. & Co.” Beautiful reverse painted door, weight driven with beautiful columns, carved gold gilt eagle, nice hand painted dial and open hands. Measures approx. 32″ tall x 16 1/2″ wide x 4″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.
