Seemingly ebonized original finish with gold decorated front base corners, incised carvings, painted face, ornate pendulum, original glass tablet with 2 pheasants in a setting with cattails and almost rolled up scrolls on each side of the face. No makers marking visible. 1890-1910 era. 19″ tall by 10 1/2″ wide. No visible cabinet losses.

Black Forest Carved Cuckoo Clock, Fox, Deer & Pheasants: unmarked movement; a wooden dial with plastic numerals; 3 pine cone weights and carved leaf pendulum; the case has carved pheasants, fox and deer. The crest is a carved full figure deer and leaves.

(The deer crest has some small areas of damage; several leaves on the case are chipped; the crest needs the attachment parts to the clock fixed; there are antlers for the deer but they are not correct.)

Mid 19th century ebonized Jet case shelf clock by William Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, CT. Done in wonderful style, of “Jet” design, with an ebonized Wood case. Having carved sunburst design at the crown. Has Paper over Metal dial with Roman numerals, behind glass panel door hand-painted with Greek style depictions of two Sphinx creatures. Fit with 8-Day 30 hour time and strike movement. Pendulum is present. Case measures approx. 19″H x 10-1/4″W x 4-7/8″D. Will not ship, we can refer local shippers.

Ansonia Ebonized Mantle Clock. 7.5 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement with hour count wheel strike on a coiled gong, signed Ansonia Clock Co. on the iron gong mount and on the beat indicator, has a silvered pendulum bob. In an ebonized and gilt incised case with carved crest and turned finials; original reverse painted door glass framing the dial in black, gilt, red and blue aesthetic design, Ansonia Clock Co. paper label on the back of the case reads Greek. Good general condition and original finish, has some wear to the reverse painting. 17.75 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
