Eastman Clock Co., Boston, wall regulator retailed by Daniel Pratt's Son, Boston, this example being an Eastman #1 pendulum wall clock in cherry, case finish appears to have been enhanced at some point, original 12 -inch zinc dial has been repainted and aged, original upper glass and lower glass replaced, original weight, running, signed movement with serial number "225." Eastman Clock Company was in business 1894-1896 and became the Chelsea Clock Company in 1897; very few clocks were made. 34 in. high x 16 1/2 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Oak Wall Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial signed ÂBoard of Education, New YorkÂ, has black hour numbers and open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement signed ÂEastman Clock Co., Boston & numbered 773, brass pulley, lead weight, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and lockdown hardware on a wood weight baffle. In an oak case with flanged bezel and drop section with original door glass exposing the pendulum. Case has an old overcoated medium brown finish, replaced dial. 33 in. high x 16 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.

A 19th century Four dial Vienna Regulator wall clock with Day, Month and Date by "Heinfich Fischer, in Wien" additionally marked "Stadt Seilergasse, No. 9" on date dial . 8-day weight driven time only movement with a two part porcelain main dial with Roman numerals and a molded brass bezel with three lower subsidiary dials indicating the Day, Month and Date. Mixed wood case with and arched top and shaped crown and a long molded door with lower finials and a shaped drop. Original grain painted finish with some wear, running when cataloged, calendar needs adjustment. 52" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,500

Serial #818533 indicates a date of 1888. Walnut case with a pediment crest and carved detail. Restored finish with light wear, restored crest, running when cataloged. 49" high overall. Seth Thomas No. 1 wall regulator has a 12-inch painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds and blued spade hands; round brass 8-day time only, weight driven Silas B. Terry movement with iron weight, gilt pendulum stick with keystone at the top and brass covered pendulum bob. In a rosewood No. 1 case with reverse painted and gold leaf “Regulator” tablet and original black label on the sliding weight baffle which reads “Seth Thomas Clock Company, Thomaston, Conn. USA.” In good overall condition, case has been refinished and movement is running. Dimensions: 34 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 24.05 lbs.
