Unique early Strauss Bros Americas Leading Tailors cast metal advertising clock. Appears to be in overall fair cosmetic condition with paint loss and wear from use and age. Clock is missing its mechanical components. Overall it measuresapproximately 34" tall by 17-1/4" across.

Strauss Bros. Advertising Wall Clock. 11 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and large pierced hands; brass spring driven time only signed Seth Thomas movement No. 9 5/8, in good running condition. In a beautiful cast Iron front case with pierced swirling filigree and shell crest and filigree decorated drop below; the bezel has raised lettering with advertising for ÂStrauss Bros. AmericaÂs Leading TaylorsÂ and in the drop reads ÂChicago, Orders Taken HereÂ and has an overall copper washed finish on the front. 34 in. long x 17 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
