Oak Standing Floor Clock. Painted iron dial has a 12 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, black 5 minute numbers, painted floral corner spandrels, birds in the center and arched top with ship sailing on a stormy seascape, dial signed S. Pearson, Hallifax and has fancy pierced hands; brass weight driven movement has drop hammer hour strike on an iron bell at the top of the movement and a large iron weight, crutch is repaired. In an oak case with broken arched pediment crest on the bonnet with spun brass finials, turned columns on the corners, turned quarter columns on the corners and inlaid borders; case is refinished. 89 in. high x 20 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
