British, 18th century, arched silvered and brass dial signed "J.O. Wady/London", brass movement, seconds sweep, and date aperture, arched blind fretwork hood over a waisted case, with arched door, two weights and winder, 90-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 10-1/2 in.

The open pediment over slide-off bonnet with arched door, full columns, flame mahogany veneers on the middle section of the case with fully dimensional turnings either side of the Gothic door, outset block base with central roundel raised on short sabre foot with cut-out. The painted sheet iron dial with peasant figure and Roman numerals with seconds hand along with a lettered name interpreted as Wakefield, fronting the time and strike movement.
Measures 93 x 25.5 x inches.

A fine Liverpool or Northern English tall clock, about 93″ in overall height, with stringing and cross banding inlay as well as inlay medallions. The dial of high quality with painted figures depicting the four seasons, and housing an eight day bell strike clockworks.

Early Wood Works American Tall Case Clock. Painted wood dial with black Roman hour numerals, leafy spandrels and arched top, fancy pierced lead hands, extra holes at top of dial. Has an early weight driven wooden works movement, recoil escapement, drop hammer strike with count wheel strike mechanism, in very good running condition, one replaced gear, few minor chips to the teeth. In a typical pine tall case, with pierced crest and turned finials, illegible pencil writing on the back of the door. 87 in. high

Early Morbier 2 Wt. Tall Case Clock, 3 Pc. Case: With a steel dial that has a day of month display and is framed in brass with hammered designs, the front brass plate has been reattached to a modern backplate. The strike bell is above the newer English Grandfather movement. The 3 piece case has burr wood veneer and inlaid designs on what looks like mahogany as a base. The case has a keyhole front and a drop out access door.
