Early French Bronze Figural Silk String Clock: the time and quarter hour striking movement, with 2 gongs, is marked what looks like PR. The 3 1/4″ porcelain dial has 3 key slots. The case has a kneeling woman on top, with a dog reaching up to her. A lobster is at the dog’s feet and a large swan is attached to it all. Below is a central acanthus tree, with classical style man and woman, with a horse on each side. The case is all bronze.

(A bit of chipping is around each key slot. One of the dog’s paws is missing.)
