French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lionÂs head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 69.75 lbs.

Bazelaire, De ParisÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell. In good condition and running; case is clean and in beautiful original condition. 19 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Early French Dore Bronze and Marble Figural Clock with a unmarked time and strike movement and a 4 1/4″ porcelain dial marked “Ethe Lenoir Paris”. The figure is of Clio on the top. Clock is running at this time.

French Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Black marble case with dore bronze urn top having twisted side handles and repousse faces on the front and back, has figural winged griffin side mounts and stands on griffinÂs heads with talon feet. 4 in. marble dial has applied brass Roman hour numerals and gilt hands; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy FreresÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Movement and bronze urn have a hallmark with initials ÂG.S. on either side of a bee under a star. In good overall condition, case has a few minor chips to the corners and missing back-plate behind the movement with a replaced fabricated ring. 14.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

Black marble base with a black marble clock tower and green marble pilasters on the front, bronze trim, roof and wreath crest with hanging scroll, the wood & plaster base is brass covered on the front with lions paw and filigree feet; seated to the right and leaning against the clock tower is a bronze figure of a philosopher with a book rested under his elbow and a basket of scrolls to the far left. 4 in. porcelain time dial signed ÂSarazinÂ, has black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced hands and brass door bezel with beveled crystal; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell. Marble has a crack & repair in the base below the clock tower, missing pendulum. 16 in. high x 23 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
