Circa 1760 English Unsigned 30 Hour Wall Clock with 7″ Brass dial with engraved silvered chapter rings and cast brass spandrels, Well made brass bird cage type movement with anchor escapement and alarm, English alarm wall clock in country pine case was probably used as the alarm clock for a large country house. It’s loud bell can be heard from afar. Restored condition, the movement circa 1760 was made a 100 years earlier than the case. Case was originally grain painted and now stripped to a honey pine color. 28″H x 11″W x 7″D
