Unique early Coca-Cola neon advertising clock by Lackner. Clock is in good original cosmetic condition with paint loss, discoloration, and wear from use and age. Neon works well, clock runs periodically. It displays extremely well with afantastic original patina. Overall it measures approximately15-1/4" tall by 15-1/4" across.

The inner face is in nice condition with good color and shine. There is one minor nick above the 7 and the outer face has light paint chips to the yellow. The trim ring has some wear with rust staining and paint loss on the case. The Lackner label is present on the reverse and one access panel is missing. Both the date and union stampings are on the back in yellow. The clock runs and the neon works. Marked 6-48.

Gilbert Oak Advertising “Drink Coca Cola” Clock: In a Gilbert “Washington” case with a TO movement; an original unmarked paper dial with stenciled “Drink Coca Cola” and the pendulum. The lower door has an old original transfer of a girl drinking Coca Cola and it reads “This is the Genuine Coca Cola”.

Not tested.

The clock works and runs as it should. It shows wear and has spots of older touch ups, mainly along the edge. It includes a pendulum and two new keys. The top and bottom glass have been set with silicone. The clock retains the original paper instructions behind the lower door. The middle trim piece appears to have been sanded down and re-stained. Recent service includes movement cleaning, fresh synthetic clock lubricant and set rhythm.
