French Figural Mystery 2 Chain Swinger Clock. Standing cast metal figure of a woman marked in 2 places with the initials “L.S.F.”; she holds up in her right hand a gilt bronze post with crossbar having hanging chains from which the clock swings. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals with gilt pierced hands, brass 8 day time only spring driven movement is encased in a bronze tub with pointer at the bottom, finial and handles at the top; the jeweled pin pallet escapement is engaged by a crutch attached to one of the handles. Clock is in good running condition with no missing or broken parts. 24 in. high.

French Figural Moreau Miniature Swinger Clock. Small standing figure of a young French boy, cast in white metal and having a nice deep brown finish, signed Aug. Moreau; his arm holds up the swinging pendulum. The gridiron pendulum is 11.5 in. long, the spring driven movement is contained within the top sphere of the pendulum behind the dial with applied brass hour numerals; has a pin pallet escapement. Clock is in good working condition; 12.5 in. high.

French Industrial Figural Swinger Clock. Large standing industrial figure of a French blacksmith standing beside an anvil, he holds a hammer in one hand and the other hand holds up the clock pendulum; the white metal figure has a nice brown finish and is signed Ch. (Charles) Ruchot. The gridiron pendulum is 27.5 in. long, the spring driven 8 day movement is contained within the silvered tub top of the pendulum behind the 4 in. porcelain dial; movement signed with Guilmet (GLT) mark and numbered 9361. In good condition with no breaks or repairs, 37 in. high.

French Figural Rebecca At The Well Inverted Swinger Clock. Standing figure of Rebecca standing beside a stone well, at her feet a mirror resembles water with a boarder of lily pads, the standing figure wears a delicate robe which is blowing in the breeze, she leans slightly forward to look into the water with her left hand balanced against the stone well and her right hand holds up the pendulum which has a 2 tone gridiron shaft, the spherical bob has a champlevé bezel and the movement is contained within the bob; dial has applied brass Roman hour numerals and floral gilt hands, has its original green finish. The unusual brass spring driven movement is contained within the sphere, has an internal counter weight on an X shaped suspension and attached to the crutch, which engages the escapement as the pendulum swings. Movement is singed and numbered L. Leroy & Cie. Paris, 22060; the statue is signed A. de Renieri (Aristide de Ranieri, 1880-1914, France). The white metal statue is in good condition with no breaks, damage, losses or repairs, has a good overall finish. 23.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 11 in. deep.
