Welch Regulator Calendar No. 1 Wall Clock, rosewood veneered case with hinged bezel over the 18 1/2-in. dia. repainted tin dial, over the midsection calendar dial, and black and gilt reverse-painted lower door, eight-day "up-side-down" brass movement regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, and two iron weights, ht. 55 in.

E.N. Welch Eclipse Calendar Wall Regulator. Original 7 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and 31 date calendar numbers outside, pierced black hands and black painted calendar indicator; brass 8 day single spring driven movement singed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Ct, has a long wood pendulum stick and a brass covered bob. In a walnut case with carved and incised crest, side corbels and lower bracket, arched top door with original reverse gilt decorated glass which reads ÂEclipse RegulatorÂ. In good condition, has a minor split to one of the crest pieces, enhanced finish. 39 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Welch Spring Regulator Calendar No.1: 8 day time and strike weight driven movement (upside down movement) and recoil anchor escapement. The time dial is 18″ wide; the calendar dial is 12″ wide. In a rosewood veneered case. Cabinet and crank style keys are with it.
(The veneer around the dial’s door is partly loose and has a scattering of loss. The 18″ dial has a bit of wear and paint loss.)
