A late 19th century E. N. Welch "Gerster" Victorian shelf clock with alarm. 8-day time and strike movement with alarm, papered metal dial and Roman numerals, fancy pendulum with glass insert. Rosewood case with galleried top and turned finials above a single long door flanked by turned columns on a molded base. "Patti" paper label on back 50%. Older refinishing with some wear and replaced dial, running when cataloged. 18 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
