Oak Gallery Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial and pierced decorated hands; brass 8 day double spring driven time only movement has pyramidal plates, ebonized wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In an oak case with round stepped front, in mint original finish signed on a paper label ÂWelch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., USAÂ, missing lock. 20.75 in. dia x 5 in. deep. Weight: 11.25 lbs.

Painted metal dial with brass bezel, black Roman hour numerals and fancy black hands; quality brass, time only, 30 day, double spring driven movement with brass covered pendulum bob and wood stick, in an oak case having its original medium brown alligatored finish and in very good overall condition, center arbor is slightly bent. Door lock is missing. 19.5 in. dia.

RARE! Curtisville Calendar Clock Co. Gallery: Has a metal painted dial marked “Calendar Clock Co., Curtisville, Connecticut Patented Sept. 19, 1854” with Roman numeral time dial, Arabic number date dial; in a large painted wood frame overlaid w/ plaster of Paris formed into floral designs; with gold leaf and blue paint.
Has early upper movement w/ inverted verge, but is not correct. Has no lower movements or working calendar parts. You are buying a very scarce case and dial. You complete the clock yourself. It’s a great example of a early calendar gallery clock.
