A turn of the century E. N. Welch “Drop Octagon” clock. 8 day spring driven time and strike movement with painted metal dial. Mahogany veneered case with inlaid detail, carved “Ears” and chisel bottom with mirrored lower glass. Rare “E. N. Welch Mfg. Co. Forestville, Conn, USA” paper label 80%+ intact. In running order. Older refinishing with minor wear, some dial flakes. 26 1/2″ high. ESTIMATE $150-250
