A late 19th century E. N. Welch "Beaver" model kitchen shelf clock. 8-day time and strike movement with alarm and papered metal dial with Roman numerals. Walnut case with single shaped door with carved detail and cut-out base. Rare "New York" label verso. Older finish with some wear, dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 20" high. Ansonia “Beaver” Walnut Kitchen Clock: With a T&S with alarm movement; a paper dial marked “Ansonia”; and a decorated glass door. There is a nickel target pendulum with the clock.

The clock is running and striking at this time.

(The case has been adapted for hanging. The dial is badly yellowed. The top decoration has been glued in place with an excess of glue. There is no key with the clock.)
