E.N. Welch “Arditi” Double Dial Calendar Clock. 8 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced hands; pierced brass spring driven movement signed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. Forestville, Conn. USA, has a count wheel hour strike mechanism with a coiled gong, brass pendulum bob with wood stick. 8 in, lower calendar dial has a 31 day chapter ring and sub dials for the 12 months & days of the week, Gale’s patented perpetual calendar mechanism in good working condition with Gale’s paper label in the back of the case. Carved walnut case has a pierced carved and incised crest and side corbels, original door glass, calendar dial and mechanism are set within a hinged door below the time dial. 27 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
