Rare Ives “Tin Plate” Ionic Shelf Clock, Circa 1860, 6″ professionally repainted dial, 8-day, tin plate movement, rare Ingraham patent Doric case with tin plate walnut & rosewood veneer case in Doric styling, classical reverse stencil on glass door, Ives tin plate in Ingraham & Co. case, September 30th 1862, rolling bird cage escape wheel, steel pivot, rolling pinions, refer to page 352 – 354 of “Connecticut Clock Technology 1810 – 1862″ by Ken Roberts, very good refinished condition, movement complete and in fine working order.
