An Admiral George Dewey, Spanish American War theme commemorative clock. This gingerbread style clock was made by E. Ingraham Company. The gilt tablet depicts the U.S. Battleship Maine surrounded by scroll work above paired crossed flags and anchors. The case is oak. At the top is a portrait of Admiral George Dewey, flanked by stacked cannon balls with crossed flags. The lower wings depict field cannons with U.S. flags. At the base are alternating stars and anchors. Pendulum is an embossed eagle. Circa 1900. Working with key.
Size: 23.25″ H x 15″ L x 4.75″ D
Weight: 3lbs
Condition: Very good. Chip on right side of base, just above stars and anchor, approximatly 1″ x 1/2″. Small spots of white paint at top near Dewey portrait.
