Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers, 3 in. sub seconds dial, large black spade hands; quality brass 8 day weight driven time only movement signed ÂE. Howard & Co. BostonÂ, has Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, Geneva stop, large iron No. 1 weight, brass pulley, wood weight baffle w/ brass lockdown hardware, long gold painted wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In a large sized cherry No. 70 case with hinged door bezel and carved corner pieces. Case appears to be a 20th century ÂreissueÂ, reverse painted tablet is in good condition, original movement, weight, pendulum bob & hinges. 62 in. high x 30.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
E. Howard No. 75 Regulator. Original 12 in. painted metal dial signed ÂE. Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has black Roman hour numerals and blued spade hands (tarnished); brass 8 day weight driven time only movement No. 70, signed ÂE. Howard & Co., BostonÂ, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, original No. 70 iron weight and brass pulley. In a carved mahogany case with turned finials over a carved trim piece, leaf carved spandrels on the corners of the upper door, square teardrop finial, corbels and floral carved border in the drop section with original reverse painted red, black & gilt tablet. In good overall condition, case has some damage to the lower bracket from the weight falling, has an enhanced original medium red-brown finish with very small spot touchups in the tablet. 34 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5. in. deep.

E. Howard No. 13 Regulator. Original 12 in. painted metal dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has blued pierced diamond hands; brass, weight driven movement, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, Geneva stop, full length gilt wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, original No. 1 weight, red painted weight baffle (replaced) with lockdown hardware. Walnut case has an original finish with an old overcoat, round bezel and long reverse painted door tablet which is replaced. 56 in. long.
