Large white marble dial measures 28 in. x 28 in. black repainted hour numerals and chapter ring and red 5 minute Arabic numbers, large black open trefoil hands (repainted) and signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Quality brass No. 11 1/2 movement, signed E. Howard & Co, Boston; Recoil escapement, Geneva stop, iron weight stamped with No. 20, brass pulleys and pendulum with repaired ebonized wood stick and brass covered bob. In good condition, no cracks to the marble and the movement is in good working condition.

Howard & Co., Boston”, has black Roman hour numerals and minute markers, red 5 minute numbers and reverse painted glass panel inset in the bottom exposing the swinging pendulum. Brass weight driven 8 day time only movement number “24 3/4″ signed “E. Howard & Co., Boston”, has a long ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, ebonized wood weight baffle, brass pulley and iron weight. Has a pine case box painted white on the exterior, has a minor split in the bottom right from a fallen weight. In very good condition. 44 in. high x 24 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Howard & Co. Boston. Quality brass 8 day weight driven movement has pyramidal plates with double tapered posts, recoil escapement, Geneva stop, brass pulley, iron weight, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. The lower drop section of the case has an oval reverse painted throat glass with gilt leaf, black background and open center exposing the pendulum bob. Missing the front for the lockdown hardware and pendulum bob is damaged. 34 in. high x 20 in. wide
