E. Howard No. 13 Regulator. Original 12 in. painted metal dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has blued pierced diamond hands; brass, weight driven movement, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, Geneva stop, full length gilt wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, original No. 1 weight, red painted weight baffle (replaced) with lockdown hardware. Walnut case has an original finish with an old overcoat, round bezel and long reverse painted door tablet which is replaced. 56 in. long.

Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has large blued spade hands and black Roman hour numerals; brass weight driven time only movement No. 5 signed ÂE. Howard & Co., BostonÂ with silvered plates, has a long ebonized wood pendulum stick with a brass covered bob, brass lockdown hardware in the wood weight baffle (replaced) and good iron No. 11 weight with brass pulley. In an oak case with hinged wood door bezel and original reverse painted lower tablet having red & black paint with gold leaf highlights and open aperture exposing the pendulum bob. In very good condition, case has an enhanced original finish with no breaks or repairs, original glass in good condition with no touchup or inpainting. 42 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Boston; 8 day weight driven time only No. 5 movement has steel plates, signed in script ÂE. Howard & Co. Boston, 5Â, has long wood pendulum stick with brass bob covered lock down hardware on the weight baffle and large No. 70 iron weight, pendulum stick is repaired. In an oak long drop case with hinged door bezel and long reverse painted tablet with black background, red panel and gilt border, black is overpainted, paper label in the bottom of the case and missing upper door glass, has a beautiful clean original finish. 36 in. high x 15.5 in. wide.

Square, drop form case with floral carved spandrels and collar, turned finials, beaded frieze and original reverse painted tablet having minor black inpainting. In a beautiful large sized walnut No. 70 case with hinged door bezel and carved corner pieces. Case has an enhanced original finish and is in very good condition, dial is original paint with no inpainting, has 3 vertical natural seam splits w/ repair. 62 in. high x 29 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

In a large sized cherry No. 70 case with hinged door bezel and carved corner pieces. Howard & Co., BostonÂ, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, original No. 70 iron weight and brass pulley. In a carved mahogany case with turned finials over a carved trim piece, leaf carved spandrels on the corners of the upper door, square teardrop finial, corbels and floral carved border in the drop section with original reverse painted red, black & gilt tablet. In good overall condition, case has some damage to the lower bracket from the weight falling, has an enhanced original medium red-brown finish with very small spot touchups in the tablet. 34 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5. in. deep.
