Howard & Co., Boston has stamped Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial and blued pierced diamond hands; round brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with lever escapement in good running condition, unsigned. In a forged brass case with a gilt finish, hinged door bezel, original key and mounted on a mahogany stand. In good condition, movement is running. 15.5 in. dia.

Quality, brass, weight driven, No. 70 movement, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston; has recoil escapement, damascened brass pendulum bob with wood stick, black painted weight baffle, lockdown hardware and iron No. 70 weight. Square, drop form case with floral carved spandrels and collar, turned finials, beaded frieze and original reverse painted tablet having minor black inpainting. Original finish with overcoat. 34″ H. x 15″ W. x 5.5″ D.

Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has large blued spade hands and black Roman hour numerals; brass weight driven time only movement No. 5 signed ÂE. Howard & Co., Boston with silvered plates, has a long ebonized wood pendulum stick with a brass covered bob, brass lockdown hardware in the wood weight baffle (replaced) and good iron No. 11 weight with brass pulley. In an oak case with hinged wood door bezel and original reverse painted lower tablet having red & black paint with gold leaf highlights and open aperture exposing the pendulum bob. In very good condition, case has an enhanced original finish with no breaks or repairs, original glass in good condition with no touchup or inpainting. 42 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers, 3 in. sub seconds dial, large black spade hands; quality brass 8 day weight driven time only movement signed ÂE. Howard & Co. BostonÂ, has Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, Geneva stop, large iron No. 1 weight, brass pulley, wood weight baffle w/ brass lockdown hardware, long gold painted wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In a large sized cherry No. 70 case with hinged door bezel and carved corner pieces. Case appears to be a 20th century ÂreissueÂ, reverse painted tablet is in good condition, original movement, weight, pendulum bob & hinges. 62 in. high x 30.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.

E. Howard No. 28 Marble Front Wall Regulator. 14 in. dial has a 12.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and red Arabic 5 minute markers outside, pierced black hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. 8 day brass weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has brass pendulum bob with gilt wood stick, U-shaped lead weight and ebonized wood weight baffle. Marble front case has reverse painted throat glass with black background and gilt leaf borders and stars. Has a repair to the marble dial at 9 oÂclock. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide.

Howard Nautical Ships Clock: with a 12 1/4″ dial, marked with a trade mark and No. 5430. The movement is signed and numbered 11. The brass plated case is 4 1/4′ thick and 15″ wide. Movement is time only.
(The painted dial is showing some wear and chipping. The seconds hand is missing and the plating is all worn from the cases front.)
