Howard No.70 Time Only Regulator: 12″ dial in all original oak case with original weight. This style of Howard clock is used in railroad stations across the country. The interior label is good. The movement is signed and numbered 70.
(The dial has a few scattered paint chips and has no hands.)

E. Howard & Co. No. 70 Wall Regulator. Original 12 in. painted metal dial marked Penna. R.R. 617, has painted black spade hands and black Roman hour numerals; brass weight driven time only movement No. 59 signed E. Howard & Co., Boston, has a long ebonized wood pendulum stick with a damascened brass covered bob, brass lockdown hardware in the wood weight baffle and good iron weight with brass pulley. In an oak case with hinged wood door bezel and original reverse painted lower tablet having red & black paint with gold leaf highlights and open aperture exposing the pendulum bob. In very good condition, case has a nice cleaned & enhanced original finish, no breaks or repairs to the case, weight baffle is replaced, original glass in good overall condition with some red inpainting, dial has very minor inpainting around the screw holes and winding hole. 31.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.
