Howard & Co. Boston. 8 day brass weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has brass pendulum bob with gilt wood stick, U-shaped lead weight and ebonized wood weight baffle. Marble front case has reverse painted throat glass with black background and gilt leaf borders and stars. Has a repair to the marble dial at 9 oÂclock. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide.

Boston. Quality brass No. 11 1/2 movement, signed E. Howard & Co, Boston; Recoil escapement, Geneva stop, iron weight stamped with No. 20, brass pulleys and pendulum with repaired ebonized wood stick and brass covered bob. In good condition, no cracks to the marble and the movement is in good working condition.
