Original 7.5 in. painted dial, black Roman hour numerals, blued spade hands, sub seconds dial; lower calendar dial, good calendar hand, signed Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis, Mo. Has a Seth Thomas brass 8 day time and strike movement, Graham deadbeat escapement, typical calendar mechanism, brass bell, drop pendulum with star and silvered bob. Walnut case has original finish, label on inside-back, turned columns and finials and gold leaf on the door glass reads – Fashion. In very good overall condition, no finial breaks, case is clean. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Original 7.5 in. painted dial, black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands, inset paper sub seconds dial with silvered bezel; lower calendar dial signed Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis, Mo., lower dial is set on a hinged door. Good calendar hand. Has a Seth Thomas brass 8 day spring driven movement, manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for the Southern Calendar Clock Co, deadbeat escapement, blued coiled gong on a coiled brass mounting bracket, Long drop pendulum has a wood stick with silvered and damascened bob and silvered beat indicator. Original calendar mechanism is in good running condition, has original paper labels on the brass barrels. Walnut case is original finish, turned columns on the sides, pointed finials on the arched top and gold leaf on the door glass that reads – Fashion. Clock is in good working condition the gong is replaced. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep

Not tested.

(The dials have been replaced. There is veneer loss just below the door. There has been some restoration done to the clock. )
