American. 1880s. Ebonised wood case with simulated stone quarter columns. Made by the Waterbury Clock Co. and adapted for gambling by the Progressive Manufacturing Co. of Papa, Illinois. Mechanically functioning. Insert a nickel and the clock dispenses two tokens once each five times. The clock strikes each time a token is dispensed.
