Shaped wooden case with Brass numerals, painted exterior and stenciled rhyme, patented 1901. Minor wear, Mouse lacks tail, movement dirty but running when cataloged. Oak Dickory Dickory Dock Clock. Oak wall hanging case has a carved crest and bottom, gilt stenciled lettering Dickory Dickory Dock, the long throat has painted 5 minute markers and applied Arabic hour numbers, when the clock is running, the carved wood mouse runs up the face of the clock indicating the time, every 12 hours at 1 o’clock the clock falls down an the mouse starts up again. Mouse is in good condition with nice white paint having some minor chipping, case is in original finish and the clock is in overall good condition. Brass movement with spring driven hour strike on a silvered bell and copper covered pendulum bob. 35 in. high.
