Davies Pat. Crystal Palace Clock w/Dome: Ansonia Crystal Palace No. 3 with an 8 day T&S on bell movement and an unmarked paper dial. The base is stamped “Davies Pat.”. There is a key, a 2 cylinder pendulum and a dome with the clock.
It is running and striking at this time.

H.J. Davies Crystal Palace No. 1 Clock. Brass spring driven movement no. 6 ½, signed H.J. Davies, New York, strikes on a brass bell. 5 in. paper dial with brass embellishments on the bezel. Brass pendulum with double barrel bob. Has a walnut base with mirrored back and standing figures on either side. ÂDavies was the designer of the Crystal palace and the successor to George Jones; the company was bought by Ansonia around 1877Â. 18 in. high x 14 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Original 5 in. paper dial with fancy filigree decorated gilt brass bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂWaterbury Clock Co.Â, has an half hour countwheel strike on a bell and brass gridiron 2 faux mercurial jar pendulum. Case has a walnut back panel with mirror, signed ÂDavies Sole Manf, The Crystal Palace Clocks, Patented JanÂy 26, 1875Â, has spelter standing figures of a fisherman with oar and woman with spear; original finish, figures have original paint, original mirror, in excellent condition. Missing original dome, clock is displayed under a period glass dome with ebonized wood base measuring 20.5 in. high x 19.5 in. wide x 10.5 in. deep. Clock is running and striking, measures 16.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 7 in. deep. Weight: 19.5 lbs.
