A fine tall case clock, circa 1790-1820. Has a broken arch top with no central spire but has two finials on either side above a hand painted dial that is also signed, "David Scheidt, Sumneytown", (outside of Philadelphia).There is also a small painting of a boy, top center. in a small placard. The center waist section of the clock has tombstone shaped door. The clock rests on a simple French foot.
