Brass Mounted Crystal Desk Clock. Clear crystal case with pierced gilt brass mounts, trim, feet and bezel; 1.75 in. porcelain dial, small round brass spring driven time only movement with cylinder escapement, signed on the back plate and bezel collar with the initials ÂL.F. in an oval. Movement is running, case is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks, has a few tiny chips along the top edge of the base. 6.75 in. high.

Title: Vintage Mercury Filled Pendulum Crystal Regulator Chiming Desk Mantel Clock
Description: Up for auction is a very interesting vintage chiming desk/mantel clock with a mercury-filled pendulum. The clock only runs for a minute or so before the pendulum stops swinging. The chime appears to function normally. The pendulum has two glass vials of mercury attached to it. The pendulum is still fully intact with no cracks or breakages in the vials. The clock is in overall very good cosmetic condition, with no real major issues aside from just being a bit dusty.
