Cast Iron Gothic style case with Black painted finish, Mother-of-Pearl decoration and painted detail. Paper label inside 80% intact. Some case wear, replaced later dial, movement very dirty, running momentarily when cataloged. 20 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $100-150

Crosby, New York Burl Mahogany Beehive Clock, Circa 1852, 5″ original painted dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, an eye-catching light burled case front with a finely detailed original tablet adding to the classically aged painted dial, the reverse of this dial has an apprentice practice dial, preserved to near perfection with only minor veneer loss to bottom edge. Height 19″.
