RARE! Curtisville Calendar Clock Co. Gallery: Has a metal painted dial marked “Calendar Clock Co., Curtisville, Connecticut Patented Sept. 19, 1854” with Roman numeral time dial, Arabic number date dial; in a large painted wood frame overlaid w/ plaster of Paris formed into floral designs; with gold leaf and blue paint.

Has early upper movement w/ inverted verge, but is not correct. Has no lower movements or working calendar parts. You are buying a very scarce case and dial. You complete the clock yourself. It’s a great example of a early calendar gallery clock.

Welch Forestville, CT. 8 in. Lower calendar dial has 31 day chapter ring and inner 12 month calendar, B.B. Lewis patented perpetual calendar mechanism with Welch paper labels. Rosewood case is refinished and in very good condition, movement and calendar in good working condition; some black inpainting to dial and hands are repainted. 34 in. high
