A mid-20th century Czech cuckoo clock. 30-hour Brass weight driven movement with quarter hour strike, on a circular wooden dial with applied Roman numerals. Mixed wood case with extensive carved decoration including a stag head crest, and lower Fox and Grapes design (Look up! Aesop's tale). Original finish with some wear and minor damage, ears and antlers with glued repairs, running when cataloged. 31" high plus weight drop. ESTIMATE $400-600

Czechoslovakian Kienzle-Uhrenfabrik, oak wall clock, c. 1901, elegant fluting columns frame the beautiful oak casing of this timepiece, beveled glass in the pendulum window attract attention to the oval shape, there is a classic and clean form to the piece, chimes are unique in that it has a triple chime that rings once on the hour, twice on the half and three times on the quarter, operating, with key, 32″l, 14″w, 8″d, 19lbs

Attr: Johann Baptist Beha Black Forest Carved Cuckoo Table Clock. 6 in. wood dial with incised and painted Roman hour numerals and pierced brass hands; double fusee spring driven movement has wooden strap plates, has an hour cuckoo strike with coiled gong, long steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a carved table model case with branches, oak leaves and acorns, bird in the crest and a fox tangled in a leg trap on the front. Unsigned, in nice overall condition with an enhanced original finish, has a few carving repairs, running and striking, cuckoo bird is working. 22 in. high x 14 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 16.5 lbs.

Oak Arts & Crafts Cuckoo Clock. 5 in. brass dial with black incised Arabic hour numbers & spade hands, dial signed American Cuckoo Clock Company, Philadelphia, Penna. The fancy brass German weight driven movement has square plates with pierced lyre design, half hour count wheel strike mechanism with coiled gong, cuckoo whistles on the sides, iron pyramidal weights and oak pendulum. In an oak case with arched spandrels and reverse tapered columns, door above the dial with single mechanical carved wood cuckoo bird. 13 in. high x 9 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

In a carved walnut case with swirling filigree throughout on the crest, along the front; in good condition with minor repairs to the carvings. 21 in. high x 16 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
