German, Black Forest musical mixed wood cuckoo clock, c. 1875, a delightful example of the craftsmanship found in Germany, bone hands on the dial and a carved botanical design to the case is visually pleasing while great attention has been paid to the aural element of this timepiece, “Star Spangled Banner” and “Conquerors Waltz” play on the hour, movement is stamped by maker, 30 hour movement, operating, 15.5″h, 13.25″w, 7″d, 11.25lbs

A turn of the century German Railroad Cuckoo clock. 30-hr weight driven time with quarter hour Cuckoo and Quail strike and Brass movement by George Kuehl, a wooden dial and applied Roman numerals. Walnut case with shaped pediment top, inlaid dial surround with scrolled foliate carving and turned drop finials. Older finish with some wear, running when cataloged. 24" high plus the weight drop.
