Slate and Bronze French Clock, Semi-Nude Woman: With a bell striking movement marked “PL THS”. The slate case has bronze relief figures of Classical women – some are carrying trays of food while others carry game animals and birds. They seem to represent several different races – Egyptian, Roman, Grecian and others. The bronze figure on top is of a partially nude woman reclining on a cushioned bed, holding an apple in her hand.

The clock is running and striking at this time.

(The “III” and “V” on the dial are not original to the clock. The upper right corner on the front of the case looks like it has been repaired. There are few small, but not serious, nicks scattered about.)

A 9.25 x 9.25 x 4 inch brass clock with cloisonne enamel decoration on the case and the ten open columns. The enamel on copper dial includes a seconds bit and readouts for month and day of month. Hidden on each side are hand painted enamel panels of nude maidens in wooded and river landscapes. No signatures found, winds and runs.

1.) Metal Nude Lighter clock with the dial marked Fay Mfg. Co., Chicago. The nude sits atop the clock with a light above her head. Not tested.

2.) Unmarked metal Scottie Dog clock with a set key wind movement and a tri-color dial. (Not working at this time.)
