Wooden Works Wall Clock. Columbian exposition clock, circa 1892. Has a 5.5 in. carved wooden dial with Christopher Columbus profile portrait carved in the crest and Annos (year) 1492 carved at the bottom, single carved hand; carved wooden gears with verge & pin wheel escapement and has a cylindrical iron weight with turned wood stopper.14 in. high x 5.5 in. wide.

Original 7 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and 31 date calendar numbers outside, pierced black hands and black painted calendar indicator; brass 8 day single spring driven movement singed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Ct, has a long wood pendulum stick and a brass covered bob. In a walnut case with carved and incised crest, side corbels and lower bracket, arched top door with original reverse gilt decorated glass which reads ÂEclipse RegulatorÂ. In good condition, has a minor split to one of the crest pieces, enhanced finish. 39 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Carved French walnut gothic style case with burled highlights, brass mounts and rosettes; long pendulum with wood stick and oversized bob having a repousse brass front with peacocks, filigree and a round burled wood panel in the center. 9 in. convex porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals and 31 date calendar numbers inside, fancy pierced hands, dial signed ÂMarechal a Nogent Le RotrouÂ; weight driven movement has fancy pierced brass plates, 2 brass covered weights, quality brass pulleys and an hour rack strike mechanism on a coiled gong. 59 in. overall length x 18 in. wide x 11 in. deep.
