Cloisonne Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.25 in. porcelain dial signed by the retailer “Harris & Shafer, Washington DC”, has pierced decorated hands and floral garland in the center; French brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement, half hour strike on a coiled gong with hour repeater button on top of the case. In a brass case with hinged handle on top, cloisonne enamel borders and beveled glass on the rear door, front, sides and top, exposing the escapement. In an original travel case with original key. Case is in good overall condition with no loss to the enamel, no damage to the glass or dial, strikes and repeats, not running; case has some wear to the leather covering and carrying strap is broken. 6.25 in. high x 3.75 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep. Brass Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.25″ porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and sub alarm dial; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform cylinder escapement, quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs with repeater and sub alarm strike. In a gilt brass case with fluted corner columns, arched beveled front glass, beveled glass on the sides and top, viewing the escapement, hinged handle and German inscriptions on back for speed regulator and alarm wind. Running and striking (strike needs adjustment), alarm not functioning, has key. 5″ high x 3.75″ wide x 2.75″ deep. Weight: 2.75 lbs.

French Hour Repeater and Alarm Carriage Clock. Brass case has corner columns, beveled glass on 4 sides and the top, escapement exposed through the top, and repeater button. Black open moon hands, enameled dial w/ black Roman hour numerals, red 5 minute numbers and minute markers on the chapter ring, sub-dial below for the alarm. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever platform escapement, strikes the hour and once on the half hour on a single coiled gong, in good running condition, though the alarm spring is broken, alarm is not working. 8 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Brass case has a hinged handle on the top, beveled glass on the sides, doors and on the top exposing the escapement. Dial has a single hairline across the center, rear door glass has a small corner chip. 6.25 in. high to the top of the handle x 3.25 in. wide x 3 in. deep.

Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, alarm dial below, open moon hands and signed Gillett & Johnston, Croydon. Quality spring driven French brass movement signed Soldano, has a platform lever escapement with good balance wheel, blued coiled gong for half hour strike and alarm, has a 1 hour repeater mechanism. Clock is in good condition with no breaks or repairs, time, alarm and repeater mechanisms are all in good working condition. 8 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

In a polished gilt brass case with hinged handle, turned corner columns, finials and feet, beveled glass on the front, back, rear door and round beveled glass on top, viewing the escapement. Excellent overall condition, running, striking, no damage to case. 7″ high x 4.25″ wide x 3.75″ deep. Weight: 5.5 lbs.

The brass case has a fancy handle at the top, beveled glass on the side and oval glass on top exposing the escapement.
