An early 20th century Claude Grivolas 400-day clock. 400-day time only movement with a convex porcelain dial and Arabic numerals, painted drape detail marked "Pendule 400 Jours, CG, Utilia" with Gilded engine turned bezel and torsion pendulum. Brass case with Gilded detail having a flat molded top over a beveled glass door flanked by reeded Corinthian columns and beveled side and rear glasses on a molded base with scrolled skirt. Fully marked on rear plate and base of pendulum with matching "2338" serial #'s. Very good condition with slight wear, married Grivolas dial, running when cataloged. 11 1/4" high. Guilmet Lighthouse Torsion Pendulum Clock. The two tone pyramidal bronze case depicts a lighthouse built from bricks on a black marble base. The clock has a torsion pendulum with helical spring spinning behind beveled glass panels in the center of the dome, resembling light. Square plate movement has a Brocot escapement and coiled gong strike, signed GLT Paris and numbered 1094. In good condition, 23 in. high

The case has a green marble serpentine crest with brass mounts and base with figural winged putti on chariot with lions, beveled glass with brass trim and cut glass side columns on the front. Round French brass spring driven 400 day time only movement with hanging gilt brass torsion pendulum; movement signed and numbered “No. A.8-637-6, Pendule 400 Jours, Fabrication Francaise, Trous D’Axes Comprimes” and G.C. Paris trademark. In a fancy gilt brass case with arched top having applied figural winged putti on the frieze, shaped bowed sides, 10 beautiful columns and beveled glass on the side, front and rear doors. Very good and clean condition, running. 13″ high x 10.5″ wide x 5″ deep. Weight: 16.5 lbs.

Terryville Torsion Cottage Clock. 4 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals and fancy blued hands; brass spring driven movement has patented double acting torsion balance and escapement with double weighted cross-bar balance rotating on a long suspension spring which engages the pin-type crutch. Paper label in the back of the case for Terryville Manufacturing Company. Mahogany cottage style case has filigree reverse painted tablet glass. Worn original finish, missing some veneer at the top beveled edge of the base, dial is replaced, clock is in running condition. 11 in. high x 7 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.
