Chippendale Carved Cherry Tall Case Clock
Adam Brant, New Hanover, Pennsylvania circa 1770
The scrolled molded crest with carved rosettes above the engraved brass dial with makers name in the arch and pull-up movement on a waist with carved door and fluted corner columns on base with raised panel and ogee bracket feet. Height 8 feet 3/4 inches, width 23 inches, depth 11 inches.

brass and silvered dial inscribed "Isaac Brokaw" (Elizabethtown or Bridgetown, New Jersey, 1770-1785), eight day brass movement, moon phase, calendar dial, seconds sweep, set in a waisted case with broken arch pediment with carved rosettes and finials, dentil moldings, fluted quarter columns, paneled and scalloped base with ogee bracket feet, winder, pendulum, and two weights present, 93-1/2 x 22 x 10-3/4 in.

dial inscribed "Jacob Diehl Reading", Berks County, Pennsylvania, circa 1800, old dark surface, broken arch molded pediment with dramatic carved rosettes above relief carved leaf and floral tympanum, waisted case with blind fretwork basket weave molding, over shaped door flanked by fluted quarter columns, paneled base with ogee bracket feet, arched and painted dial with moon phase, seconds sweep, and date aperture, brass eight day movement, pendulum and two weights present, 95 x 25-1/2 x 12 in.

John Solliday, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, circa 1770
The scrolled molded cornice ending in carved rosettes above an engraved brass and silvered dial with a bird in the arch above the chapter ring and maker's name "John Salate [sic]" and brass eight-day weight-driven movement below above a waist with narrow carved door flanked by fluted corner columns on base with cyma curved panel flanked by spiral carved corner columns all on ogee bracket base. Height 8 feet, width 19 inches, depth 9 1/2 inches.
