Chelsea “Tambour” Mantle Clock. The 6 inch dial has a silvered finish with applied Arabic numerals, signed “Tiffany & Co. New York”, with scratching & wear. The case is gold gilt with slight pitting. New York; spring driven movement with lever escapement, rack & snail strike mechanism with half hour strike on a coiled gong, signed Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S.A. and numbered 135908. In a bronze tambour style case with scrolled sides and turned feet, gilt brass finish has some tarnish and minor wear showing copper undertones. Movement & strike mechanisms are not running. 10.5 in. high x 21 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
