Chelsea Ship’s Bell Clock with Ship’s Wheel Case & 4 Inch Dial. The dial has a silvered finish with incised Arabic numerals, in good condition with a scratch near the number 9, signed “M. Low, New York” & “Chelsea Ship’s Bell”. The case has an original chromed finish in very good condition, glass is loose. Movement is running, ship’s bell strike functions. Dimensions: 11 in. high x 11 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 9.30 lbs.

Chelsea Helm Ships Bell Clock. 5 in. silvered dial signed ÂChelsea, ShipÂs Bell with black incised hour numbers and blued open moon hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂChelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA and numbered 308289, has a lever escapement with balance wheel and a shipÂs bell strike on a coiled gong. In a brass ships wheel case with hinged door bezel, splayed base, 2 tone finish and mahogany back and bottom with matching number. In running condition, base is engraved ÂTo Our Chief And Colleague, Francis L. Lederer, Mc-V S-USNR, as a token of our Esteem, July 1942Â. 17 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Chelsea Ships Bell Mantle Clock. Silvered dial has a 4 in. chapter ring with black incised Arabic hour numbers, open moon hands, beat regulator and lever for silent-chime, signed Chelsea Ships Bell. Quality brass spring driven movement signed Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A. and numbered 852066, lever escapement in good working condition, rack and snail strike mechanism with ships bell strike on a coiled gong. In a gilt brass case with ships wheel around the bezel, in overall good condition, one of the 3 mounts behind dial plate is broken and case has some tarnish to the surface. On a mahogany base with a serpentine form and stands on spherical feet. 8 in. dia. x 10 in. high x 18 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

Quality bronze ship’s wheel case with matching numbers “607601” with an mahogany back & platform. In good original condition, missing door glass. 10.5 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Chelsea Ships Wheel Clock, time and strike ships bell movement and a 3 1/2″ metal dial. Engraved on bezel “May 28, 1944 W.A.S. Jan. 23 1946, and mounted on an inlaid wood custom made back and base. Clock is running at this time.
(The metal finish is worn and the wood is dented under the clock front.)

A nice desk clock, about 5″ in height, made by the Chelsea Clock Company, with a silver dialed timepiece in the form of a ships wheel mounted on a gimbaled frame and base. The antiqued finished brass case is engraved “H. S. Prentice 1948”.
