Chelsea “Decator” Ship’s Bell Clock with 4 Inch Dial. The dial has a silvered finish with applied Arabic numerals, in good condition, signed “Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S.A” & “Ship’s Bell”. The case is in the original brass finish with slight wear and has an inscribed presentation on the front, on an ebonized base. Clock is running, ship’s bell functions. Dimensions: 14 in. high x 10.25 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 14.90 lbs.

Chelsea U.S. Maritime Commission Ships Bell Clock. 5.5 in. black painted metal dial signed “Chelsea Ships Bell, U.S. Maritime Commission, Ser. No. 2801”, with incised white hour numbers and glow in the dark hour markers (9 of 12 missing), brass spade and pointer hands; quality brass spring driven movement with lever escapement, rack & snail ships bell strike mechanism on a blued coiled gong, movement signed “Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S.A., 314050”. In a forged brass tub with threaded flanged bezel and a lacquered finish, matching number on the back of the case “314050; case has some surface tarnish and spotting, in good working condition. 7.5 in. dia. x 3.5 in. deep.

Chelsea Ships Bell Mantle Clock. Silvered dial has a 4 in. chapter ring with black incised Arabic hour numbers, open moon hands, beat regulator and lever for silent-chime, signed Chelsea Ships Bell. Quality brass spring driven movement signed Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A. and numbered 852066, lever escapement in good working condition, rack and snail strike mechanism with ships bell strike on a coiled gong. In a gilt brass case with ships wheel around the bezel, in overall good condition, one of the 3 mounts behind dial plate is broken and case has some tarnish to the surface. On a mahogany base with a serpentine form and stands on spherical feet. 8 in. dia. x 10 in. high x 18 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
