Title: Vintage Seiko Seikosha Art Deco Bird Peacock Mantel Clock
Description: Up for auction is a very cool and unique Seikosha Art Deco mantel clock with a peacock statuette sitting on top of it. The peacock is unfortunately missing its beak, but otherwise you can still definitely tell it is a peacock. The clock runs fine, but we are unsure of the service history. This clock is from the collection of a lifelong military watch and clock enthusiast!

An early 20th century Lenzkirch "Peacock" model free swinger clock. 8-day time and strike movement with brass dial and Silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals. Serial #1 million 121892 indicates a date of 1896. Walnut case with a shaped crest over a square door flanked by turned pilasters over an open well with a shaped drop, all with extensive cast brass decoration. Some wear, restored cornice and crown with added decoration, running when cataloged. 34" high overall. ESTIMATE $800-1,200

Original two color Bronze case with a Queen Isabella and Columbus at the waters edge, lower case with Gilded bezel and foliate scrolls on stylized Dolphin feet.
