Mantle Clock. 8 in. silvered dial signed “The Cowell & Hubbard Co., Cleveland”, has applied brass hour numbers and fancy pierced brass hands; round brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A.” and numbered 68024, a platform lever escapement and an half hour strike on a coiled gong. In an unusual forged brass case with heavy brass bezel, deep convex heavy door glass, bowed back panel and splayed base standing on spherical feet with a gilt brass finish. Movement is in running condition, striking, good hands, clean dial, strike hammer has a repaired arm. 12 in. high x 11 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Quality brass spring driven movement signed Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A. and numbered 852066, lever escapement in good working condition, rack and snail strike mechanism with ships bell strike on a coiled gong. In a gilt brass case with ships wheel around the bezel, in overall good condition, one of the 3 mounts behind dial plate is broken and case has some tarnish to the surface. On a mahogany base with a serpentine form and stands on spherical feet. 8 in. dia. x 10 in. high x 18 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
