Chauncy Boardman Double Fusee Steeple Clock: mahogany and veneer case with a beehive and floral decorated lower plate. Original metal dial, 8 day gong strike. Good interior label with an over label stating “This clock was sold by Daniel Pratt & Sons of Boston.”
(The interior of the lower plate has been repainted to stop the flaking of the original paint and the front side finish is a bit worn.)

Boardman & Wells Double Fusee Steeple Clock. Painted metal dial has a raised 5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and black hands, has a brass double fusee movement with tombstone cutouts in the plates, countwheel strike mechanism with coiled gong and brass pendulum bob. Fusee cone for the strike mechanism is replaced, movement is signed C. Boardman, Bristol, Conn, U.S.A. Rosewood steeple case has conical turned finials and reverse painted tablet with filigree and birds, green paper label in the back of the case signed G. Boardman and by J. A. Wells; original finish, has some minor veneer losses and chipping to the dial around the edges. 20 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

A 19th century Boardman & Wells shelf clock. 30 hr time and strike weight driven wooden movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with carved crown above a single door with clear glasses, flanked by carved columns. Older refinishing in fair condition, some veneer damage. 32 1/2″ high.

Boardman & Hubbell Calendar Shelf Clock. 5 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals and original blued & pierced hands, 30 day, double spring, time only pierced brass movement has fancy shaped plates, lever escapement with good balance wheel, brass covered pendulum bob; lower 1 year, calendar mechanism has a long 366 Date & month roll beside a 14 Day cylinder which rotates once every 2 weeks. In a walnut case with arched top with teardrop finials on the front, carved crest and splayed base with incised design and center rosette; hinged brass dial bezel with door glass and lower reverse painted glass panel with open apertures exposing the lower calendar labels. In very good condition and original finish, dial repainted. 19.75 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

In a rosewood case with gilt trim inside of the door frames, original upper glass and original reverse painted lower glass having fancy gilt decorated & open apertures exposing the lower calendar labels. In very good condition and original finish, has a partial label inside of the case, replaced paper dial, minor inpaiting on the lower glass. 27.5 in. high x 14 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
