French Alabaster Lyre Mantle Clock. 5 in. porcelain dial with black Arabic numbers, hanging floral garland and fancy pierced hands, signed Renoir; rhinestone studded bezel is attached to the gridiron pendulum and swings when the clock is running. Has a typical, round, French, brass movement, strikes on a silvered bell and is signed A.D. Mougin. In a white alabaster lyre shaped case with gilt brass mounts, beaded edges a wreath at the crest and hanging garland at the top and base. In very good condition with no breaks, crack or repairs to the case. 20 in. high x 9 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Ormolu and Alabaster Mantle Clock in Glass Dome
19th century, gilt spelter sculptural case on a conforming white alabaster stand, with male and female figure posed on either side of an architectural milieu, centered round enamel face having roman numeral hour markers and rubbed maker's mark, brass works numbered 1595 without maker's stamp, includes pendulum, all raised on turned feet, presented within a glass dome with conforming wood stand.

French Alabaster Mantle Clock. White alabaster case has a rectangular base on 4 gilt bronze feet, upper tier raised on 4 columns with gilt bronze capitals, pinecone finials, bronze trim with hanging chains and tassels and a pair of doves centered below; the clock is mounted on top with laurel wreath sash and alabaster finial with floral top. 3.25″ porcelain dial signed “Rogue, a Paris” with black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, gilt pierced hands and hinged door bezels on the front and back with convex crystals; round brass 8 days spring driven movement with silk thread suspension has an half hour strike on a bell. Case has repairs, missing bell. 15..5″ high x 7.5″ wide x 4″ deep. Weight: 8.75 lbs.

Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. A full paper label is affixed to the rear lower quarter marked, “Chatham Mantel Clock. Eight-Day. Half Hour Strike. Cathedral Gong. Made by The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.” Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Ont.”. 6.75″ x 12.75″ x 16″. The quarter cut oak case wears its original varnished finish. There is evidence of varnish drip lines and checking to the finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratching to the right of the 3, in the lower quarter at the left key wind and to the upper quarter above the 12. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

20th Century lyre-form alabaster mantle clock with gilt mounts, garland, filigree and trim. The 8 day time & strike movement has a round dial with black Roman hour numerals and pierced gilt brass hands. The movement is enclosed in the central drum with the rhinestone encrusted mystery pendulum suspended from the top. Dimensions: 22 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 19.35 lbs.
