French Hour Repeater and Alarm Carriage Clock. Brass case has corner columns, beveled glass on 4 sides and the top, escapement exposed through the top, and repeater button. Black open moon hands, enameled dial w/ black Roman hour numerals, red 5 minute numbers and minute markers on the chapter ring, sub-dial below for the alarm. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever platform escapement, strikes the hour and once on the half hour on a single coiled gong, in good running condition, though the alarm spring is broken, alarm is not working. 8 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

J.E. Caldwell Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. An oval brass case with curved sides and beveled glasses, escapement exposed through the top, and alarm/repeater button. Black spade hour hand, enameled dial with black roman numerals and minute markers on the chapter ring and sub-dial below for the alarm; signed on the dial and movement “J.E. Caldwell”. Quality brass movement with silvered lever platform escapement, strikes on a single coiled gong. Switch on the bottom of the case for silent, hour and quarter hour strike. All appears to be running, strikes properly and balance has good brisk motion; 6″ high x 5″ wide x 4″ deep. Weight: 4.75 lbs.

Gilt Brass 5 Minute Repeater Carriage Clock. Brass dial has a 2.25 in. porcelain chapter ring with black hour numbers, black hands and presentation engraving on the front to ÂMr. & Mrs. Alexander Semple, From Their Friends in Broadbrook, Conn., March 16, 1892Â. Brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement in good running condition with half hour strike on a coiled gong and 5 minute repeater buttons on the top and rear of the case. Has a gilt brass case with spiral turned hinged handle at the top and spiral turned corner columns, has beveled glasses on the rear door, front, sides and the top exposing the escapement. Strike mechanism is not working. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
