A rare George III oak cased dwarf longcase clock by John Braund of Hatherleigh having a 5″ (12.5cm) silvered circular Roman dial engraved ‘J BRAUND HATHERLEIGH’, the scaled movement having four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and four spoke wheelwork between canted plates, each 3″ wide x 3.75″ high (7.5 x 9.5cm), the case having a scroll pediment over columns, the caddy moulded break arched long door 4″ wide x 11.75″ long (10 x 29.5cm), over plain base and bracket feet, overall height just 40.25″ (102cm)

An unusual early 19th century Scottish Dwarf tall clock by J. Clark, Perth. 8-day time only fusee movement with original gut and engraved Brass dial with “Green-man” mask, signed “J. Clark-Perth”. Flame mahogany “Drum head” case with slide off hood, beaded corners and original bracket feet. In running order. The hood appears to have never had a glass. Some wear and minor veneer damage, upper section of backboard may be an old replacement. 27″ high.

Traditional Mahogany case with broken arch crest, glass upper door flanked by turned columns and solid lower door and ogee bracket feet. Original finish with slight wear. Running when cataloged. 60 1/2″ high.

John Bailey Mahogany Dwarf Floor Clock. Silvered arched plate signed ÂJohn Bailey, Hanover with 6 in. dial having black incised Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside, filigree corner spandrels and open moon hands; pierced brass 8 day weight driven movement with hour strike on a bell; movement is unsigned. In a mahogany case with pierced carved crest, turned brass finial, turned side columns on the bonnet with bone mounts. Good condition and original finish, movement is running but not striking, some minor repair to the crest. 46.5 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
